Few executives have had a rise as swift as Dawn’s. In little more than two years Dawn went from an intern working on her Master’s degree in social work to taking up the reins of a small wellness company. Today, the company she has built into BHS handles 300 contracts across the country. Dawn’s insistence on a high-touch, personal approach has shaped every aspect of BHS, and she has led organization after organization to rethink wellness and the long-term gains a higher level of employee well-being can bring. Dawn’s commitment to bettering lives continues after hours, as she serves on the boards of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Big Brothers Big Sisters and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. She chases work-life balance in her own life by attending concerts and escaping to the beach with her family.
