Description: Serving as a GUIDE for each participant, a Master’s level clinician (Care Concierge) provides in-the-moment support, crisis counseling, telephonic or virtual psychosocial assessments, action planning, navigation and connection with qualified behavioral health providers, treatment facilities and/or other sponsored benefits. The candidate will have a working knowledge of the current behavioral health landscape, including insurance plan coverage. Must have the professional acumen to make clinical recommendations and referrals to appropriate levels of care. 

The candidate for this position must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational, communication and coordination skills. The applicant must have effective clinical consultation, negotiation and influencing skills to interface with various types of people and treatment providers.  

The focus of this position requires a specialist orientation to completing detailed, accurate work based on established guidelines. Position requires a candidate that uses frequent, friendly, outgoing communication styles in working with others who often have different styles, attitudes and behaviors.  

This position reports to the VP, Clinical Services 

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Provides high-touch, concierge-style behavioral health support telephonically and/or through a video-based platform 
  • Accepts service requests for the GUIDE program (via inbound call, assessment trigger, on-site behavioral health consultant, or form submission) 
  • Reviews participant-completed behavioral health assessments and provides outreach to engage, triage and coordinate care 
  • Utilizes scheduling tool to plan and monitor scheduled consultations  
  • Provides in the moment support, crisis support, intake, further assessment and action planning  
  • Guides participants to organizational resources – including health plans and employer-sponsored benefits 
  • Utilizes action plans to make clinical recommendations and referrals to appropriate levels of care 
  • Guides participants to community resources, including behavioral health and substance abuse treatment centers 
  • Provides follow-up to ensure connection, progress and participant satisfaction 
  • Monitors the quality, compliance, progression and outcome of each case 
  • Uses various interventions such as: motivational interviewing, solution-focused consultation, behavior modification, intrinsic coaching, etc. to resolve participant issues/concerns but also keep participant engaged throughout the process 
  • Maintains accurate and complete client information in our customized case management platform/EHR 
  • All activity completed during day must be documented prior to leaving at end of day 
  • Participates in on-call rotation Attends staff meetings and other meetings as required 
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned 

Job Type: Full-time Exempt  

Required Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Related field 

Required Experience:  

  • Case management experience/experience utilizing a case management platform/EHR 
  • Experienced and comfortable working with a diverse set of participants, from Attorneys and Physicians, to Police officers and School Teachers 
  • Excellent working knowledge of behavioral health care landscape, insurance plans and evidence-based behavioral treatment models 
  • Working knowledge of substance abuse treatment models 
  • 2-5 years’ experience providing case management/ utilizing a case management platform/EHR 
  • 2-5 years’ experience working with Addiction and Recovery 
  • Previous work experience in roll that required use of clinical acumen

Business Development Manager

We are seeking a self-motivated, quick-to-connect, business development manager who wants to be part of a growth team at BHS. This person will play a critical role in achieving our ambitious sales goals and revenue growth objectives. The role involves working with the marketing team to identify, drive and close qualified sales opportunities. The primary job responsibilities will be to; 1) close big deals 2) nurture relationships that lead to a robust pipeline 3) build the BHS brand.

This position reports to the VP, Customer Solutions

Some of the essential job functions include:

  • Making dozens of calls per day
  • Qualifying prospects
  • Closing deals
  • Outreaching to execs in targeted companies
  • Following the BHS sales process from start to finish
  • Managing outbound email drip campaigns launched by marketing team
  • Conducting presentations and demos in person and via screen share
  • Maintaining contact with interested prospects who are not yet ready to buy
  • Providing customer/prospect feedback to help refine sales pitch and constantly improve sales tools

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in sales/marketing
  • Demonstrated sales success
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Business Writer

The Business Writer position is responsible for writing compelling content that supports BHS’ business development goals. The Business Writer position will be expected to produce a wide variety of written materials which may include but are not limited to: sales proposals, business proposals RFPs (requests for proposals), RFIs (request for information) and RFQs (request for quotations), persuasive sales emails, general emails, articles, blogs, social media postings, applications for awards, and content for presentations.  This position will support the Business Development (BD) team and BHS’ overall revenue and growth goals.

This position reports to the CEO.

Some of the essential job functions include:

  • Produce written content according to brand guidelines that is original and plagiarism free
  • Effectively communicate solutions and complex business concepts through writing to external audiences
  • Meet deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review and approval
  • Answer all RFIs and RFPs utilizing proposal writing standards
  • Utilize APA Style Citation
  • Develop, maintain and utilize templates for new, current or frequently used business development/sales documents according to brand guidelines that follow writing standards including readability,
  • consistency, and tone
  • Develop and utilize persuasive sales emails and letters for target sales audiences
  • Complete applications as needed (Examples: applications for awards, or to speak/attend conferences)
  • Collaborate with BD team, various BHS department heads and internal subject matter experts to produce written content that is current with industry standards as well as timely to current events
  • Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with assigned Business Development Manager, VP of Customer Solutions and/or CEO
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
